Does it sound like a robot?

It uses speech-to-speech models that listen while they talk, so people can interrupt. Kata tests engines and voices and keeps the ones people stay on the line with.

Can I listen before it calls my customers?

Yes. Place a test call to your own phone. Every call after that has its transcript and, when recorded, its recording.

Does Kata buy numbers?

No. Calls go out from numbers in a Twilio account; you add them to Kata.

Is it legal to call my customers?

It depends on the country and on the consent you hold. You stay the caller. Kata keeps local calling hours, keeps a do-not-call list, and your script can say that the caller is an AI and that the call is recorded. Check the rules for your market before you start.

Can one campaign call and email?

No. A campaign is email or call. Both live in the same workspace, with the same leads and the same agent.
