Outcomes and conversions
After each call, Kata reads the transcript and tags the outcome, with a one-line summary. Conversions come from your shop or site.
Call status
queued, ringing, in-progress, completed, no-answer, busy, failed, canceled, voicemail.
Outcomes
| Outcome | Meaning |
|---|---|
interested | The lead wants it. Counts as a success. |
callback | The lead asked to be called back. Counts as a success. |
not_interested | A clear no. |
do_not_call | Asked not to be called: on the do-not-call list, email suppressed. |
voicemail | A machine answered. Retried after the voicemail delay. |
wrong_person | Not the lead. |
no_conversation | Picked up, but no real conversation. |
Find calls with list_calls (filter by outcome), and read one with get_call: transcript, events, recording.
Conversions
Report orders and sign-ups to the same postback as Kata Send (Integrations shows your URL), or POST /api/conversion. Identify the lead by the call's token (kata), their email, or their phone, and add the value:
bash
curl -X POST "$POSTBACK_URL" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"phone":"+14155550142","event":"purchase","value":86}'The conversion counts for the variant of the lead's call.
